Bilal Iqbal MB BS (Hons) BSc(Hons) MRCP
Dr Bilal Iqbal qualified from University College London in 2002. His postgraduate education involved training at leading teaching hospitals such as Hammersmith, Charing Cross, Royal Brompton, Harefield and The London Heart.
He is currently a specialist registrar in Cardiology and Internal Medicine on the North West Thames rotation. He has published extensively in journals such as the Lancet, Heart and the BMJ. He has experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. Dr Iqbal is also an author of the MRCP revision series from Oxford University Press.
Gautam Mehta MB BS (Hons) BSc(Hons) MRCP
Dr Gautam Mehta qualified from Southampton University in 2001, and underwent postgraduate training at Hammersmith, Royal Free, St Mary's and Charing Cross Hospitals. He was the youngest appointee to the North West Thames Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine registrar rotation and is currently in his fourth year.
He has numerous publications in journals such as the BMJ, Gastroenterology, Gut, Clinical Medicine and the Quarterly Journal of Medicine. He has six years experience of teaching medical students for the final MB. He is also a regular lecturer on MRCP preparation courses. Along with Dr Iqbal, he is currently authoring the new MRCP revision series for Oxford University Press.
